Jonah Inman, a senior standout from Cullman High School, has been crowned Class 6A Hitter of the Year by the Alabama Sports Writers Association, a testament to a breakout campaign that blended power and precision.

Inman finished the season with a .375 batting average, a .493 on‑base percentage and a 1.310 OPS, while smashing 12 home runs and driving in 42 runs. His slugging percentage of .817 topped the classification, second only to Homewood’s Levi Nickoli in overall OPS.

Cullman coach Brent Patterson praised Inman’s relentless work ethic, noting that the player’s motivation was evident in every practice and game.

Local Honorees Across the State
