A Fresh Commitment for the Vols
Tennessee Football secured a commitment from four‑star offensive tackle Q’Mari Hudson on Saturday, adding a highly touted prospect to its 2026 recruiting class.
Hudson, a 6‑foot‑5, 300‑pound standout from Western Branch High School in Chesapeake, Virginia, chose the Vols over Virginia and Virginia Tech after an official visit to Knoxville that proved pivotal in his decision.
His pledge marks the second offensive‑line commitment for Tennessee on the same day, following the earlier arrival of Kenneth Simon II, and pushes the Vols to No. 30 in Rivals’ team rankings.
The class now features a cadre of four‑star talents, including Chad Simmons, Princeton Uwaifo, Kesean Bowman, Malik Howard, Kadin Fife, Dylan Haley, Jaden Butler, J.P. Peace, Slim Leavell, Derrick Baker, Carter Jamison, Sam McKeown, Christian Mays and Ford Fehling, each bringing distinct strengths to the roster.
Coaches highlight Hudson’s versatility, noting his experience on both sides of the line, and expect his physical presence to bolster the offensive front as the team looks ahead to the upcoming season.
