The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers baseball team fell 5-2 to the Winterset Huskies on Friday night, a loss that left the Tigers with a 6-9 record.
ADM struck first, plating a run in the top of the first inning, but the Huskies answered with a five-run burst in the second to seize a 5-1 lead.
Landen Grossman took the loss on the mound, surrendering five hits and five runs over three innings before being pulled.
Winterset improved to 9-6 overall and moved to 2-3 in the Raccoon River Conference, while ADM slipped to 6-9 and 1-3 in conference play.
What’s Next for the Tigers
The Huskies are set to travel to Carlisle next, whereas ADM will host a doubleheader against Ballard beginning at 5 p.m.
