2026 Season Overview
Auburn Soccer has officially announced its 2026 campaign, a 17‑match schedule that blends a rigorous nonconference slate with a full slate of Southeastern Conference play. Nine of those contests will be staged at the Auburn Soccer Complex, giving the home crowd ample opportunity to rally behind the Tigers.
The season kicks off with an exhibition matchup against Georgia, followed by a contest versus Georgia Southern, before the first official game of the year against Clemson on August 14. Early‑season opponents also include Jax State, Southern Illinois, Kennesaw State, Georgia State, UAB and Samford, setting a challenging tone for the roster.
Conference play begins with the Iron Bowl of Soccer on September 11, a rivalry that traditionally ignites the SEC schedule. Home conference fixtures will feature Ole Miss, Tennessee, Kentucky and Mississippi State, while the Tigers will travel to face Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Florida and Texas in away league games.
The postseason trajectory is equally ambitious. The SEC Soccer Tournament will unfold from November 8‑15 in Pensacola, Florida, offering a compact but intense battle for conference honors. Following that, the NCAA Tournament will commence with campus‑site rounds in November and December, culminating in the College Cup at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina, where the semifinals are slated for December 9 and the championship match on December 12.
