Junior standout leads St. Aloysius to playoffs with impressive stats and college prospects

A Rising Star in Mississippi Baseball

Keller Bradley, a junior at St. Aloysius High School, has been crowned The Vicksburg Post’s baseball Player of the Year after guiding his team to the Class 3A playoffs and securing a second straight winning season.

At the plate he posted a .398 batting average, collecting 20 hits in 28 games and reaching base in 26 of them, while also smashing nine doubles, five triples and two home runs. His speed translated into 33 stolen bases and 15 runs driven in, underscoring his all‑around offensive threat.

On the mound Bradley showed poise beyond his years, throwing an 88‑mph fastball paired with three breaking pitches. He logged nearly two strikeouts per inning and finished the season with a 2.65 ERA, a statistic that reflects both durability and control.

His defensive value shone in center field, where a strong arm and elite speed made him a standout presence. Coach Brad Babb praised the sophomore’s potential, noting that Bradley’s best days are still ahead.

The performance has attracted attention from a half‑dozen Mississippi junior colleges, positioning Bradley for a promising collegiate career. As he looks toward the next chapter, the local community watches eagerly to see how his talent will develop on a larger stage.
