Commitments and Rankings
The Cincinnati Bearcats have added two prospects to their 2027 recruiting class, bringing the total to 14 commitments and nudging the group to No. 56 in the national rankings.
Travis Miller, a safety out of Clinch County High School in Homerville, Georgia, chose the Bearcats after weighing offers from Charlotte and Arkansas State. Joining him is DeCaleb Green, a three‑star edge rusher from Donaldsville, Georgia, who held scholarships from South Alabama and Wake Forest before pledging to Cincinnati.
A New Quarterback Arrives
Head coach Scott Satterfield, who recently lost veteran quarterback Brendan Sorsby to Texas Tech, highlighted the experience and poise of incoming transfer JC French IV, noting his accuracy and leadership as key assets for the offense.
French IV arrives from Georgia Southern, where he finished as the school’s all‑time leading passer, and he is expected to step into the starting role vacated by Sorsby.
