The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) has unveiled its final Trib HSSN Top 5 state baseball rankings for the 2026 season, marking the culmination of a competitive year across the Commonwealth.
Six PIAA champions have been crowned, their titles distributed across four distinct districts, underscoring the geographic breadth of high school baseball talent.
Class Winners and District Breakdown
In Class 6A, Neshaminy emerged victorious from District 1, while Dock Mennonite secured the Class A crown in the same district. Greencastle‑Antrim and Bermudian Springs added titles from District 3, rounding out the district representation.
Indiana, representing the WPIAL, captured the Class 4A championship, and Southern Columbia, hailing from District 4, won in Class 2A. The rankings also note that several districts did not produce a PIAA gold medalist this year.
Dock Mennonite’s latest state title marks the fourth in the school’s history, a milestone that places the program among the most decorated in Pennsylvania baseball.
Indiana, Southern Columbia and Bermudian Springs each added a second PIAA championship to their résumés, with Indiana standing alone as the only program to repeat as state champion in 2026.
For Neshaminy and Greencastle‑Antrim, the victories represent their first-ever PIAA crowns, a historic moment that reflects the rising competitiveness of their programs.
