A partnership built on navigation beyond vision
Roborock, the global smart‑cleaning brand known for its intelligent home solutions, has announced a multi‑faceted partnership with Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The alliance centers on supporting the organization’s blind soccer program while unveiling the Roborock ClearPath Classroom, a dedicated space designed to foster independence through technology.
The collaboration was marked by a ribbon‑cutting ceremony on June 17 at the Miami Lighthouse campus, where Virginia Jacko, Oseas De Leon, Roborock leadership and Florida State Senator Shevrin Jones delivered remarks. A live blind soccer demonstration, led by Miami Lighthouse students, coaches and De Leon, showcased how adaptive equipment and coaching can empower athletes with visual impairments.
Beyond the ceremonial aspects, the partnership includes a $50,000 donation that will fund USABA‑credentialed blind soccer coaches, orientation and mobility training, physical therapies and specialized assessments. The contribution is earmarked to sustain the Miami Lighthouse Academy and expand services for nearly 30,000 program participants each year.
Roborock’s involvement reflects its broader philosophy that technology should help people interact with the world more confidently and independently. The company, which serves more than 22 million households worldwide, sees the partnership as a concrete expression of its "Navigation Beyond Vision" concept, linking cutting‑edge innovation with community impact.
From June 20 to 23, Roborock will host a four‑day public activation at Aventura Mall. The event will feature interactive product demonstrations, live DJ programming, a coffee bar, face painting, football‑inspired games, giveaways and other family‑friendly activities. Attendees will be able to experience the company’s latest cleaning technologies while engaging with a celebration of inclusive design.
The activation underscores how technology, sport and community can intersect to create meaningful local impact. By pairing its brand reach with a cause that serves nearly 30,000 individuals annually, Roborock aims to set a precedent for corporate sponsorship that goes beyond financial support to include hands‑on engagement and awareness‑building.
