The University of Pennsylvania men's basketball squad is slated to take part in the 13th edition of the Veterans Classic, a showcase game scheduled for November 11 at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis.
The event will unfold as a doubleheader, with the Quakers first facing Saint Joseph's and USF at 3 p.m., followed by a matchup against the Navy Midshipmen at 5:30 p.m.
A Game with Purpose
Both contests will be carried live on the CBS Sports Network, giving viewers nationwide a chance to watch the action.
Beyond the basketball, the Classic is designed to honor veterans, offering visiting teams guided tours of the Naval Academy and a shared lunch with midshipmen, creating a unique cultural exchange.
Head coach Fran McCaffery said he feels honored to compete in the Classic and is eager to experience the Academy’s historic setting.
Tickets will become available later, with reserved lower‑level seats priced at $40 and general admission in the upper levels at $25, providing options for fans of all budgets.
Looking Ahead
As the Quakers prepare to represent Penn on a national stage, the game promises not only competitive basketball but also a meaningful tribute to those who have served.
