The New Orleans Saints have released their 2026 regular‑season slate, a calendar that blends tradition with first‑time experiences.
A marquee Monday night showdown against the Atlanta Falcons on October 5 will open the team's prime‑time return, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the Superdome's reopening after Hurricane Katrina.
Paris Makes Its Mark
The schedule also marks a historic milestone: the Saints will play their inaugural NFL game on foreign soil, hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris on October 25. The matchup will be played on the Saints' home field under a special arrangement that grants them exclusive marketing rights in France.
After the Paris excursion, the team will enjoy a bye week before embarking on a stretch that sees four of five contests from November 22 through December 20 played away from the Superdome, including road trips to Green Bay, Minnesota, Detroit and New York.
The season opener features back‑to‑back road games against Detroit and Baltimore, followed by a three‑game home stretch versus Las Vegas, Atlanta and Minnesota, giving the club a chance to build early momentum.
Later in the year, the Saints will test themselves against a who’s‑who of recent winners, facing Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Minnesota and Detroit, all of whom posted winning records in 2025.
The campaign will close with a road game at Atlanta on January 3 and a home finale against Tampa Bay, rounding out a schedule that balances marquee moments with a demanding travel load.
