American University’s women’s soccer program has released its 2026 schedule, a slate that blends a revitalized home venue with a challenging mix of non‑conference and Patriot League opponents.
First‑year head coach Phil Casella will guide the Eagles through eight home matches at Reeves Field, a facility that has undergone a full renovation ahead of the new campaign.
Season opener and early tests
The campaign kicks off on August 13 with a road test at La Salle, followed by two exhibition fixtures and three additional away games before the team settles into its home rhythm.
Among the highlighted non‑conference matchups are contests against Longwood, Elon and William & Mary, each promising competitive challenges early in the year.
Patriot League showdowns and special events
Inside the league, the Eagles will meet traditional rivals such as Army, Lafayette, Loyola Maryland, Lehigh, Colgate, Boston University, Navy and Holy Cross, ensuring a rigorous conference schedule.
A marquee date on the calendar is Alumni Day on Saturday, September 26, when Lafayette visits Reeves Field for a 1 p.m. kickoff, offering fans a chance to reconnect with former players.
The regular season will culminate with a home finale against Bucknell on Wednesday, November 4, rounding out a schedule that balances ambition with tradition.
