The American Hockey League is set to host its 2026 Team Business Meetings in Grand Rapids, Michigan, bringing together more than 250 executives from member clubs and partner organizations. The event, taking place at the DeVos Place Convention Center, will serve as a forum for sharing best practices in ticket sales, corporate sales and marketing.
Front‑office leaders will spend several days exchanging insights on innovative strategies, with a focus on leveraging data and fan engagement to drive revenue growth. Keynote speakers include AHL President and CEO Scott Howson, alongside other industry pioneers who will address the evolving landscape of sports business.
The schedule includes a Vendor Showcase featuring 40 companies that will present the latest tools and services for arena operations, as well as the annual TBS Awards Presentation that honors outstanding contributions to the sport. Hospitality partners such as Hibu, Mustang Products and XNow are supporting the event.

Coinciding with the league’s 90th‑anniversary season, the meetings underscore the AHL’s role as the top development league for all 32 NHL teams, a status reflected in the fact that nearly 90 % of current NHL players have passed through the AHL. More than 100 members of the Hockey Hall of Fame have also spent time in the league.
