UNC Greensboro Women’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

Four 2025 NCAA Tournament opponents headline a demanding slate

2026 Schedule Unveiled

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro women's soccer program has released its full slate for the 2026 campaign, a schedule that promises a blend of tough non‑conference tests and a balanced conference slate.

Four opponents — High Point, Iowa, Samford and Tennessee Tech — were part of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, underscoring the competitiveness of the upcoming season.

Building on a 2025 campaign that ended with a 4‑12‑3 overall record and a 2‑4‑3 mark in SoCon play, the Spartans scored 22 goals and recorded five shutouts, showing incremental progress.

Exhibitions and Early Tests

Before the regular season begins, UNCG will face Virginia Tech and Davidson in two exhibition matches, using those games to fine‑tune tactics and chemistry.

The first official match of the regular season is slated for August 13 against High Point, kicking off a schedule that includes 18 games, nine at home and nine on the road.

Conference play will consist of ten SoCon contests, with five home and five away fixtures, allowing the team to maintain a balanced home‑field advantage.

The non‑conference portion also features matchups against teams from the Big South, Sun Belt, American, BIG 10, Patriot League and CAA, broadening the Spartans' exposure to diverse playing styles.

The season will culminate with the SoCon Tournament, beginning on November 6 and culminating with the championship match on November 15, providing a final chance to finish the year on a high note.
