Bryce Ford, a senior guard who grew up in Scottsdale, announced that he will remain with Arizona State University for the 2025‑26 basketball season, forgoing the option to transfer after two productive years at Toledo.
A Promising Return
Ford made an immediate impact in his first season back, appearing in 27 games and starting 20 of them. He logged 22.4 minutes per contest, delivering 6.1 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.8 assists while shooting a career‑high 82.9% from the free‑throw line.
His shooting prowess was on full display in a road victory over Hawai'i, where he posted a season‑high 20 points on 7‑of‑11 shooting in 32 minutes. The performance underscored his ability to stretch defenses and create scoring opportunities.
Coach Randy Bennett highlighted Ford’s work ethic and fit within the program, noting that the guard’s reliability from the line and his three‑point shooting — 32 makes, the third‑most on the team — are valuable assets as the Sun Devils look to climb the conference standings.
Looking Ahead
Entering his final collegiate campaign, Ford sits just 12 points shy of the 500‑point milestone and will look to add to a résumé that includes six double‑figure scoring games, 22 assists against only 16 turnovers, and a defensive highlight of five steals in a neutral‑site win over Oklahoma.
