A digital crossover at the Naval Base
NASCAR is set to debut a real‑world accurate version of the Naval Base Coronado track inside the Roblox title Driving Empire, timed to coincide with the series' racing weekend in San Diego from June 19 to 21.
The update adds a fresh progression system, 13 new liveries, and a NASCAR Daily Event framework that lets players compete for a Driving Empire NASCAR Modified Series Car as an in‑game prize.
This move is part of a broader push by NASCAR to deepen fan engagement across gaming platforms such as iRacing, Roblox, Fortnite, Rocket League, Forza, and Crew Motorfest, where it has been cultivating virtual experiences for several years.
During the San Diego weekend, NASCAR will team up with Microsoft's Call of Duty to host its annual CODE Bowl charity esports tournament at the Naval Base Coronado, inviting active‑duty military squads from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada to compete in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Proceeds from the tournament will support job‑placement programs for veterans, blending competitive gaming with a charitable cause that underscores the series' commitment to the military community.
