More than 1,000 fans packed the stands, cheering on the teams while the event’s profile continued to rise.

Coach Shane Eakle of the West Virginia squad announced that he had secured over $21,000 in sponsorships from players, underscoring the personal commitment of the coaching staff.

The game welcomed several fresh partners, including Hope Gas, the municipal government of East Fairmont in Marion County, and the Belpre Masonic Lodge 609, each pledging support for the cause.

A milestone for the community

Broadcast live on MeTV with production assistance from WTAP, the contest drew a wide audience, while BACF board president Julia Maloney highlighted the milestone, noting that the tournament has generated more than $800,000 for CF research since its debut in 1995.
