Vermont's high school baseball season reached its climax in 2026 as the state unveiled its all‑league teams for the Metro, Lake, Capital, Mountain and Southern Vermont League divisions. The selections celebrate not only team success but also the individual talents that have defined the year.
Four programs — Essex, Mount Abraham, Thetford and Mount St. Joseph — stood atop their respective divisions to claim state championships, underscoring the competitive balance across the classifications.
Coach and Player Awards
Justin Bissonnette, the driving force behind Essex's championship run, was named Metro Division Coach of the Year, while teammate Sam Bent earned Metro Division Player of the Year honors. On the mound, Jackson Pecor from Colchester was recognized as Metro Division Pitcher of the Year for his dominant performances.
Division‑wide Honorees
Abe Ready of Mount Abraham was selected Lake Division Player of the Year, and Xander Oshoniyi from Thetford took the Capital Division Player of the Year award. Dylan Sicard of BFA‑Fairfax earned Mountain Division Player of the Year, rounding out a slate of standout athletes.
Southern Vermont League 'A' Division Coach of the Year Trevor Coyne and 'D' Division Coach of the Year Nick Davis from Mount St. Joseph were also celebrated for their leadership and strategic acumen.
