The One Team, One Goal Alumni Basketball Game took place on Saturday, June 13, drawing a packed crowd to a modest venue in Chambers County, Alabama. Representing LaFayette High School were alumni such as Corey Boston, Tae Burton, Booman Harrington, Tae Story, Dra Vines, Jordan Johnson, Dee Mackey, Shaq Woody, Boobee Whitlow and Ocho Whitlow. Across the court, Lanett High School alumni including Kin Kin Dozier, La La Whitfield, Bryant Story, Dee Dobbs, Kay Kay Atkinson, Long Pollard, Tra Abner, Fred Broughton, Keondae Huguley and Josh Patton showcased their own brand of grit and skill.

In the final seconds, LaFayette’s Burton tied the game with a clutch layup, only for Lanett’s Whitfield to answer with a daring half‑court shot that swished through the net at the buzzer, securing a 66‑63 victory for the visitors.
