Buescher Secures Multi‑Year Extension with RFK Racing
The team announced this week that Chris Buescher has signed a multi‑year contract extension, cementing a partnership that traces its roots back to when the driver first stepped onto the organization’s development ladder as a teenager.
Buescher’s journey with RFK Racing began in 2009, when he entered the driver development program and quickly rose through the ranks, capturing ARCA and NASCAR Xfinity Series championships in 2012 and 2015 respectively.
Road‑Course Triumph and Season Highlights
The highlight of the 2024 campaign arrived at Watkins Glen, where Buescher executed a last‑lap pass to claim his first road‑course victory, a moment that underscored his growing versatility.
That win formed part of a breakout season in which the driver collected six Cup‑Series victories and posted a 14.3 average finish, ranking sixth overall among the series’ competitors.
Team co‑owner Brad Keselowski lauded the driver’s talent, professionalism and unwavering commitment, emphasizing that Buescher’s presence has been pivotal to the team’s recent progress.
With ten races left in the regular season, Buescher sits seventh in the standings, poised to carry the momentum forward as the partnership looks toward future championships.
