The Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society are set to stage a first‑ever Bassmaster Randy Moss Pro Football Hall of Fame Pro‑Am on August 31, 2026, in the upstate New York community of Clayton.
The one‑day competition will pair Hall of Fame inductees with Bassmaster Elite Series anglers in a charity tournament that blends the precision of football legends with the skill of top‑level bass fishing.
A free fan expo and an afternoon weigh‑in celebration will accompany the event, giving spectators a chance to meet the stars, view trophies and enjoy a festive atmosphere that forms part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival running from August 5‑9.
Moss’s Vision
Randy Moss, who will headline the event, said he is thrilled to create a platform where football greatness meets the precision of bass fishing, hoping the collaboration sparks new fan engagement and raises funds for charitable causes.
Among the Hall of Famers confirmed for the Pro‑Am are Moss himself, along with Ronde Barber, Robert Brazile, Cris Carter, Rickey Jackson, Calvin Johnson, Kevin Mawae, John Randle, Warren Sapp, Joe Thomas and Kellen Winslow, each bringing a storied legacy to the fairway‑to‑riverbank matchup.
Bassmaster will also leverage the event to deepen its connection with the Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival, offering fans a unique blend of sports history and angling excitement.
