Major League Baseball is marking Armed Forces Day with a special line of military‑inspired apparel that will be on sale for a brief three‑day window.
A salute on the diamond
From May 15 through May 17 fans can purchase olive‑green caps and matching socks that bear each club’s logo embroidered on the front and a U.S. flag patch stitched onto the side.
All proceeds from the collection are being donated to MLB Charities, the league’s nonprofit arm that supports military families and community programs.
The initiative is being rolled out in partnership with Fanatics, the sports‑licensed retailer that will handle distribution through its online platform.
2026 season highlights
Opening Night is set for March 25, with the first full slate of games following on March 26, giving clubs a chance to open the year in front of enthusiastic crowds.
Later in the spring, the league will stage its Mexico Series in Monterrey on April 25 and 26, bringing a taste of international baseball to the schedule.
The All‑Star Game will take place on July 14, showcasing the sport’s brightest stars before the regular season winds down.
The postseason is expected to begin on September 29, leading into a World Series that is slated to open on October 23, 2026.
