The Wilder Baseball Club seniors completed a decisive doubleheader sweep of Whatcom Post No. 7, posting 5‑3 and 5‑0 victories that lifted their American Legion AAA Division 1 record to 2‑2.
Game One: A Shutout and Power Surge
Kody Williams delivered a complete‑game shutout, limiting Whatcom to four hits while striking out seven batters. Brayden Martin opened the game on the mound, allowing one earned run over six innings before giving way to Williams.
The offense exploded early, with Hunter Tennell launching a home run and driving in three runs. Ian Smithson added a solo homer, and Carston Seibel contributed a timely RBI single that helped seal the win.
