Oregon State to Host 2027 Pac‑12 Baseball Tournament as Conference Expands

Deputy Commissioner Rick Hart announces tournament details and future location considerations amid realignment

Oregon State will serve as the host venue for the 2027 Pac‑12 Baseball tournament, a decision confirmed by conference deputy commissioner Rick Hart during a recent visit to Fresno State.

The format of the tournament remains undetermined, and conference officials say they are still evaluating potential sites for future editions.

A new competitive landscape

The Pac‑12 now comprises seven programs that sponsor baseball, including Oregon State, Washington State, San Diego State, Gonzaga, Texas State, Fresno State and Dallas Baptist.

Five of those schools finished the 2026 regular season among the top‑100 in the RPI rankings, while San Diego State and Fresno State were the only two that fell outside that range.

Three of the conference’s members — Oregon State, Washington State and Texas State — earned berths in the 64‑team NCAA tournament field.

The restructured Pac‑12 is slated to officially begin on July 1, with the first baseball season scheduled for the spring of 2027.

The tournament had been staged in Scottsdale, Arizona, for three consecutive years from 2022 through 2024, where Stanford, Oregon and Arizona claimed the titles in those respective years.
