Earlier this year Soccer Pups hovered on the brink of closure, but a rescue effort led by Kristen Trowbridge and Mark Boland saved the program. The couple, whose own child once attended the club, took over operations to preserve the unique indoor soccer space for the community.
Trowbridge envisions a future where a player nurtured at Soccer Pups could ascend to the world stage, perhaps even earning a place in a World Cup squad.
