A New Chapter for Idaho’s Baseball Standout
Maddox Stadelmeir, a standout baseball player from Twin Falls, Idaho, has signed a letter of intent to play for the Midland Chaparrals in Midland, Texas, marking the next step in his collegiate career.
During his senior year he posted a .869 slugging percentage, ranking seventh in the state, and launched ten home runs while driving in 44 runs, placing him second in Idaho for RBI.
His father, Tim Stadelmeir, who also serves as the head coach at Twin Falls High School, expressed a mixture of pride and emotion as he watched his son sign the letter of intent, reflecting on the journey that has brought Maddox to this moment.
The Chaparrals, who concluded the 2025‑26 season with 53 wins and a third‑place finish at the JUCO World Series, view Stadelmeir as a pivotal addition, especially as a position player after spending his senior season catching every inning for the Bruins.
Stadelmeir has credited his teammates, coaches and the supportive environment in Twin Falls for his development, and he is eager to bring that same energy to Texas as he transitions to the collegiate level.
