Junior right-hander Carter Lehrman delivered a complete game, throwing 82 pitches to 23 batters and fanning eight while allowing just two hits and no walks.

The Cardinals broke the deadlock in the fifth inning when shortstop Landry Rausch doubled and later crossed the plate, providing the only run of the game.
