The Colorado High School Activities Association unveiled its 2026 All‑State baseball teams on June 9, spotlighting a strong showing from the San Luis Valley.
Monte Vista High School led the valley delegation with five selections, three of which earned first‑team honors. The first‑team honorees were Chayse Bouet, Judah Howe and Landon Sanchez, while Kobe Jiron and Manny Jiron were placed on the second team.
Valley’s Baseball Excellence Recognized
Other programs from the region also received recognition. Sanford High School placed three players on the honorable‑mention list — Roman Edgar, Trason Gartrell and Rylan Mortensen — while Alamosa contributed Tony Griego and Jonah Pittman in Class 3A. Centauri added Leland Chacon and Dylan Gallardo to the All‑State roster, and Sierra Grande saw a senior catcher earn the sole All‑State nod in Class 1A.
In addition to player accolades, Monte Vista’s head coach Luke Bradshaw was honored as the Class 2A Coach of the Year, underscoring the program’s overall impact.
The breadth of talent across the San Luis Valley reflects a growing baseball culture that continues to produce standout athletes and leaders, setting a promising foundation for the upcoming seasons.
