NASCAR is set to make history by staging its inaugural street race on an active U.S. military installation, Naval Base Coronado in San Diego, from June 19 to 21, 2026.

The three‑day festival will feature the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Navy 250 on Friday, the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series on Saturday, and the premier NASCAR Cup Series Anduril 250 on Sunday, each promising high‑octane competition on a temporary urban circuit.
Because the event unfolds within a secure federal installation, access is governed by strict protocols. Every guest aged 18 and older must present a government‑issued photo ID, with U.S. citizens eligible to use state driver’s licenses, passports or Department of Defense IDs, while international attendees must show a passport and undergo additional screening and biometric enrollment.
Parking is limited to the base’s designated zones — Yellow, Green and Red — and opens at 7 a.m. Pacific time, with spectator gates unlocking at 9 a.m. Tailgating and traditional infield RV camping are prohibited, but fans may bring a clear bag, small clutch purse, collapsible chairs, binoculars or an empty reusable water bottle.
The venue will also host a series of fan zones that blend live entertainment, food vendors, drink stations and opportunities to meet drivers, while a separate KSON NASCAR San Diego Country Fest will kick off Saturday night at Petco Park, expanding the celebration beyond the race track.
