The All-Blue Water Area Conference revealed its girls soccer all-star team this week, spotlighting the standout performances from ten member schools across Michigan.
Almont High School finished the season unbeaten, posting a flawless 10-0 record that left the competition far behind.
A Perfect Campaign
The final standings read like a textbook case of dominance: Almont 10-0, Richmond 8-2, Armada 6-4, Imlay City and Yale 5-5 each, while Cros-Lex and Algonac each slipped to 3-7 and North Branch endured a winless 0-10 campaign.
Among the individual honors, senior forward Lola Battaglia of Almont was crowned Most Valuable Player, a testament to her scoring prowess and leadership on the pitch.
Defensive anchor Anna LaBroski, also from Almont, earned the Most Valuable Player Defense award for her shut-down performances and composure under pressure.
Coach Mike Kepler’s guidance was recognized with the Coach of the Year accolade, underscoring the program’s steady growth under his tutelage.
The conference also took the opportunity to spotlight a host of other standouts, including Callie McCarthy, Natalia Radisavljevic, Belle Fuir, Kendall Curistensin, KK McNamara, Emma Koss, Karlee Abt, Leah Ryzyi, Emily and Pamela Prado, Lily Giles, Ava Lafferty, Nathalie Holes, Amaya Torrez, Emma Josefosky, Ella Osterback, Aubrey Mikinka, MacKenzie Josefosky, Nora Yarbrough, Laila Evola, Madelyn Phelps, Alaina Krawczyk, Mya Schoen, Kendal Donahue, Melanie Galiana, Brookelynn Looney, Ariana Mikinka, Leah Dimabord, Emma Moore, Lilah Dietrich, Padam Wadsworth and many more.
With the all-star roster now set, coaches and players alike say the recognition will fuel motivation for the upcoming season, as each school looks to build on the successes and lessons of 2026.
