The Atlantic 10 Conference has released its 2026‑27 men’s basketball schedule, setting up a slate that blends familiar rivalries with fresh challenges for Duquesne University.
Rivalries Renewed
Among the highlights is a renewed series with St. Bonaventure, the closest geographical foe in the league and the program’s longest‑running rival, with whom Duquesne will meet twice for the 21st straight season. The Dukes have won six of the last nine meetings, though St. Bonaventure still leads the all‑time series 73‑66.
The schedule also pairs Duquesne with Dayton for the fourth consecutive year in a home‑and‑home format, while matches against Davidson and Rhode Island will be played twice for the second straight season. A new chapter begins with Loyola Chicago entering the series for the first time, a matchup last seen in the 1993 MCC era.
Championship Return
The 2027 Atlantic 10 Championship will make its way back to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., marking the first time the event has been held at the venue since 2024, and all 14 conference members are slated to compete.
With the schedule set, fans can look forward to a season that promises tight contests, historic rivalries renewed, and a showcase event that underscores the league’s growing prominence.
