Seton Hall Announces 2026 Men's Soccer Schedule
Seton Hall University has released its complete 2026 men’s soccer schedule, a 17‑game slate that blends ambitious non‑conference road trips with a full BIG EAST campaign.
The season opens on August 20 with a road test at Duke, marking the third meeting with the Blue Devils and the first since 1988. It also introduces two brand‑new opponents for the program – Campbell and Liberty – while the Pirates will also travel to face Iona, Rutgers, Penn and Princeton in non‑conference play.
A Challenging Non‑Conference Slate
Five of the opponents reached the NCAA Tournament last year, including Duke, Georgetown, Princeton, St. John’s and UConn, and Seton Hall will meet each of them again, highlighted by a rematch with UConn that ended in a 2‑1 defeat in the Round of 16.
Home fixtures include a September 27 showdown with Iona, as well as contests against Lehigh, Sacred Heart and Liberty, while the BIG EAST schedule begins on September 18 with a trip to UConn before returning for home games against DePaul, Xavier, St. John’s and Villanova.
BIG EAST Battle and Tournament Outlook
The conference tournament will be held in Boyds, Maryland, with semifinals on November 12 and the championship on November 15, featuring four teams that have earned automatic bids to the NCAA Tournament.
Head coach noted that the schedule is designed to test the team early, build chemistry and position the Pirates for a deep run in both the conference and national tournaments.
