Point Pleasant Beach, the lone state champion, tops the list, while CBA and Brick Memorial secure the next spots

The Shore Sports Insider has released its 2026 Final Baseball Top 10 rankings, a snapshot of the high school teams that have dominated the Shore Conference this spring.

Sponsored by Atlantic Physical Therapy, the list not only celebrates athletic excellence but also reflects the competitive depth across the region.

State Champion Leads the Pack

Point Pleasant Beach stands atop the rankings as the Shore’s lone state champion, having captured both the Group I title and the Class A South division crown.

The team’s relentless drive was evident throughout the postseason, culminating in a decisive victory that sealed its championship status.

CBA and Brick Memorial Secure the Next Spots

Christian Brothers Academy (CBA) follows in second place, finishing the season with a 7‑3 record in Class A North and adding a Shore Conference Tournament championship to its résumé.

Close behind, Brick Memorial earned the third slot after a 25‑win campaign that featured multiple tournament titles and a serious bid for the No. 1 position.

Other teams that made a strong impression include Red Bank Catholic, which entered the Shore Conference Tournament as the preseason No. 1, and Ranney, which captured the Monmouth County Tournament and reached the final eight of both the Shore Conference Tournament and the Non‑Public B Playoffs.

Rumson‑Fair Haven claimed the Class B North division with an 11‑1 record, while Toms River East, despite losing a key senior group, posted signature wins over Point Beach and Brick Memorial.

Colts Neck compiled 20 victories and delivered solid performances in both the Shore Conference and state tournaments, and Toms River South celebrated its first division title in nine years, advancing to the Ocean County Tournament final.

The rankings underscore the parity and excitement within the conference, setting the stage for next season’s battles.
