2026‑27 SEC slate unveiled
Georgia’s women’s basketball program revealed its full 16‑game conference schedule for the upcoming 2026‑27 season, setting the stage for another competitive run in the SEC.
A single rotating opponent will determine one of the home‑and‑away matchups, with Florida slated to visit Athens and travel to Gainesville as the lone designated rival.
At Stegeman Coliseum, the Lady Bulldogs will host Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina and Texas, promising a packed atmosphere for each of those contests.
On the road, Georgia will test itself against Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Oklahoma, teams that proved formidable opponents in the previous season.
The conference campaign kicks off on Thursday, December 31, marking the start of a grueling stretch that will stretch into the new year.
Beyond the SEC schedule, Georgia will take part in the 21st annual Cancun Challenge’s Mayan Tournament over Thanksgiving weekend, joining Oregon and three other programs in a neutral‑site showcase.
A week later, the team will travel to Dallas for the fourth annual SEC/ACC Challenge, where they will meet SMU at Moody Coliseum; the last meeting with the Mustangs dates back to the 1999 NCAA Tournament.
Georgia’s performance in the 2025‑26 season saw a 22‑10 overall record and an 8‑8 mark in conference play, with victories over Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt and defeats at the hands of Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Oklahoma.
