Marlington’s Chelsea Miller, who earned a softball triple crown the previous year, continues to be a benchmark for excellence, inspiring teammates and rivals alike.
In the batter’s box, Marlington’s Brock Woods leads all hitters with a .544 average, while Central’s Presley Trbovich tops the softball charts at .629, underscoring the depth of talent in the region.
Caleb Shelly of Lake Center Christian drove in 43 runs, the highest total in baseball, while Marlington’s Chelsea Miller smashed 15 home runs, the most in softball, and Hadley Porter added 14.
On the mound, Lake Center Christian’s Grant Coblentz posted a miniscule 0.41 earned run average, Landon Thiel of Jackson struck out 101 batters, and Hoover’s Jack Andes saved eight games, highlighting dominant pitching performances.
Speed and patience also shone: Jiana Mohr‑Roberts of Aquinas stole 48 bases, and Jocelyn Powell drew 26 walks, rounding out a season rich with statistical leaders.
