A Commitment That Reshapes the 2027 Class
Kesean Bowman, a highly touted wide receiver in the class of 2027, announced that he has officially shut down his recruitment and pledged to join the Tennessee Volunteers.
The Brentwood, Tennessee native holds the No. 56 spot nationally and is ranked as the third‑best prospect from his state, earning a reputation as a wiry yet skillful outside receiver.
Bowman chose the Vols over a slate of elite programs including Alabama, Miami, Ohio State and Vanderbilt after making multiple visits to the campus, a decision that underscored his deep connection to the university.
His commitment adds to a 2027 Volunteers class that already includes 16 pledges, reflecting a strong early haul for the program.
Wide receivers coach Kelsey Pope played a pivotal role in guiding Bowman’s decision, while recruiter Andrew Ivins contributed valuable insight during the final stages of the process.
