The American Baseball Coaches Association, in partnership with Rawlings, announced the 2026 Gold Glove awards, spotlighting two senior athletes from the Bulldogs who have set a new standard for defensive excellence.
John Rorick earned the accolade for his work at second base, where he posted a perfect fielding percentage after handling 161 chances, recording 75 putouts and 86 assists without a single error.
Outfielder JT Anderosky was similarly honored, having turned 144 chances into 139 putouts and five assists while maintaining a flawless defensive record in the outfield.
A First for the Bulldogs
Both players represent the first time members of the Bulldogs have been selected for a National Gold Glove award, underscoring the program’s rising defensive reputation.
The ABCA/Rawlings Award Program, which spans nine divisions of amateur baseball, has been recognizing top defensive talent since 2007, building on a legacy that dates back to the inaugural All‑America teams in 1949.
Coaches across the country vote on the honors, ensuring that the selections reflect the highest standards of skill and sportsmanship within the collegiate ranks.
