A Strategic Refresh of the Commanders’ Staff

In the scouting department, Ryan Kessenich was appointed Director of College Scouting, while Alberto de la Guardia, Miles Turner, Andrew Dowell, John Waters, Toby Junker and Keenan Guthrie were hired or promoted to key scouting roles, bolstering the team’s talent‑evaluation pipeline.

The player health and performance staff also received notable upgrades. Geoff Kaplan now serves as Senior Director of Player Health & Performance, Jon Dignazio joins as Assistant Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist, Nick Farrell has taken the helm of Performance Nutrition, and Tanner Boro was named Performance Dietitian.

Additional hires in the football support staff include Casesse Basaraba as Video Assistant, Justin Feinstein as Equipment Assistant, and Sam Walsh as Football Operations Assistant. Bryan Porter, previously within the organization, ascended to Senior Director of Football Operations.

Gayatri Nambiar and Preston Biro round out the new roster as Senior Football Solutions Developer and Senior Football Data Scientist respectively, reflecting the club’s growing emphasis on analytics and technology-driven decision‑making.
