A Weekend of Accessible Play
On June 23 and 24, loanDepot park will host a pair of Baseball For All events organized by the Miami Marlins Foundation, inviting participants of diverse abilities to experience the game in new ways.
The first event, the Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids, runs on June 23 and concentrates on fundamental skills, offering hands‑on instruction from Marlins players and coaches in a supportive setting.
A day later, the Sensory Tour welcomes visually impaired guests to an immersive experience that engages touch, sound and scent, allowing them to explore baseball’s textures and rhythms alongside team members.
Looking Ahead
Both initiatives are carried out in partnership with the Baseball Fantasy Camp for Kids Foundation, the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, as well as broader programs such as the Miracle League of Miami‑Dade and Special Olympics Florida.
Organizers say the activities aim to demonstrate how baseball can serve as a unifying force, fostering inclusion and leaving a lasting community impact beyond the diamond.
The June showcase forms part of a larger Baseball For All calendar that will continue with Miracle League programming and Special Olympics softball events, underscoring the foundation’s commitment to year‑round accessibility.
