Hudson High School’s 2026 Spring Sports Teams Capture Regional Glory

A look at the standout performances and team achievements across baseball, softball, and track

A Season of Triumph

The Hudson Tigers enjoyed a historic spring, capturing a string of postseason victories that highlighted the 2026 athletic calendar.

The baseball squad advanced to the regional final, defeating Camden‑Frontier and Addison before falling just short of the championship. Leading the offense, Royce Beal amassed 47 hits, 27 RBIs, 34 runs and 30 stolen bases, while pitcher Liam Timm topped the staff with 58 strikeouts.

On the softball side, the team posted a 39‑2 run differential en route to the District 119 title. Taylor Kopin contributed two hits, four RBIs and a home run in the opener, and McKenna Mull threw a three‑inning no‑hitter to start the tournament. The run ended with a 9‑5 loss to Dansville in the regional semifinal.

The girls’ track team finished as state runners‑up with 43 points. Naika Rath emerged as a three‑event all‑state performer in the 100‑, 200‑ and 400‑meter races, while Ellie Loar earned all‑state honors in shot put and discus and set personal bests in both events.

Annabelle Czeiszperger placed fourth in the pole vault and secured an LCAA title, and the team also saw Naika Rath’s versatile performances highlighted by multiple all‑state recognitions.

The boys’ track program added its own luster with Troy Bolenbaugh earning all‑state honors in the pole vault, finishing fifth overall, and the squad’s overall depth contributed to a competitive season.

Across all sports, a host of athletes — including Grayson Bills, Beckett Campbell, Dru Sell, Devon Brigman, Gavin Yatzek, Bronson Butts, Kinsen Kelley, Carter Vanlerberg, Kimble, Sam Anderson, Ryen Rogers, Amber Williams, Rihanna Ramirez, Macayle Grayer, Maci Godfrey and Emerson Sholl — received all‑state, all‑district or all‑region honors, underscoring the breadth of talent on Hudson’s 2026 roster.
