Danny Hall Joins 2026 College Baseball Hall of Fame Class

The former Kent State and Georgia Tech coach will be honored alongside MLB legends in a ceremony set for early 2027

A Hall of Fame Celebration

Danny Hall, who guided Kent State’s baseball program from 1988 to 1993, is being celebrated for his transformative impact on the university’s team.

Under his leadership the Golden Flashes posted two 40‑win seasons, captured two Mid‑American Conference titles and earned NCAA regional berths, milestones that still stand as benchmarks for the school.

After his tenure at Kent State, Hall continued to shape college baseball at the next level, serving as head coach at Georgia Tech from 1994 through 2025, where he refined pitching development and program culture.

The 2026 Induction Class

His contributions have now been recognized by the College Baseball Hall of Fame, which will welcome him into its 2026 induction class alongside a roster of legendary players that includes Buster Posey, Barry Bonds, Jeff Brantley, Marquis Grissom and Dave Stegman.

The ceremony is scheduled for February 11, 2027, in Overland Park, Kansas, a city that will host the festivities for a class that marks the Hall’s 20‑year milestone since its inaugural class in 2006.

Since its first class in 2006, the Hall of Fame has honored 217 players, coaches, umpires, administrators and contributors, underscoring the growing legacy of the sport across the United States.
