All‑State Honors for Cheboygan’s Senior Stars
Senior forward Morgan Davis and midfielder Jaelyn Wheelock have been selected to the Michigan Interscholastic High School Soccer Coaches Association Division 3 all‑state girls soccer team as honorable mentions, a distinction that reflects their standout performances this past spring.
The recognition comes after the Cheboygan Chiefs captured third place in the competitive Northern Shores Conference and secured a district championship by defeating Grayling in a decisive match. Davis contributed a hat trick during the regular season and earned first‑team all‑Northern Shores, all‑region and all‑district accolades, while Wheelock was named the team’s most valuable player and placed on the NSC second team and all‑region, all‑district squads.
