The North Carolina Coaches Association has unveiled the rosters for the 2026 East-West All-Star girls and boys basketball games, a showcase that will bring together the state’s top senior talent on a single night of competition.

The contests are slated for Monday, July 20, at Greensboro’s Novant Health Fieldhouse, with the girls’ game opening at 6:30 p.m. and the boys’ follow‑up at 8:30 p.m.
Coaching Staff
Serena Smith of Whiteville and Brian Graham of Cape Fear will guide the East girls, while Brett Lamb from Highlands and John Shearin of T.W. Andrews lead the West girls. On the boys’ side, Matt Brown of Northwood and Greg Motley of Southern Durham will coach the East, and Joe Spinks of Eastern Guilford alongside Lavar Batts of Jay M. Robinson will steer the West.

The East girls roster draws participants from schools such as Overhills, Terry Sanford and E.E. Smith, whereas the West girls will field talent from Mallard Creek, Maiden and Oak Grove. The East boys will feature athletes from Currituck County, Lee County and Northwood, and the West boys will include prospects from Hickory, Williams and Lincolnton.
The event offers a rare opportunity for the selected seniors to compete against peers from across the state, highlighting the depth of North Carolina’s basketball pipeline ahead of the next chapter of their careers.
