Ricardo Aponte and Camden Rhude have been recognized by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association, earning spots on the All‑Atlantic Region Team for the 2026 season.
Their selections come as the Crimson Hawks continue a streak of deep runs in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, having reached the PSAC semifinals for the fourth straight year.
Statistically Speaking
Aponte batted .339 and posted a 1.087 OPS, tying for the team lead with eight home runs while driving in 43 runs and scoring 53, his 20 stolen bases topping the squad.
Rhude, meanwhile, hit .392 and matched Aponte’s eight home runs, adding 42 RBIs and 42 runs scored, showcasing a balanced offensive impact.
Both players had already collected All‑PSAC honors earlier in the spring, underscoring the consistency of their performances throughout the campaign.
The accolades reflect not only individual excellence but also the program’s upward trajectory under its coaching staff and the growing attention the university’s baseball program receives nationally.
