Jaleek Parson, a sophomore wide receiver for J.H. Rose High School, has quickly become the face of the Rampants' football program. His blend of speed, precision and competitive fire has turned heads across the state.
During the 2025 season he logged 50 receptions for 1,218 yards and 12 touchdowns, while also contributing 35 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles on defense, earning a spot on HighSchoolOT’s All‑State third team for two‑way players.
A Dual‑Threat Performer
The coaching staff, led by Will Bland, sees Parson as a player who has yet to hit his full potential, noting his relentless work ethic and natural leadership on and off the field.
Parson’s first Division I scholarship offer came from the East Carolina Pirates, a milestone that underscores the attention his performances have attracted.
Goals for the Upcoming Season
Looking ahead to the fall, Parson wants to sharpen his footwork, help the team make a deeper run in the state playoffs and cement his role as a senior‑year leader. He also hopes to inspire younger teammates by modeling discipline and character.
Beyond football, he enjoys basketball and track, and he admires former Rampants alumni such as Jaidon Lovett, Justin Brown and Malachi Green, whose journeys motivate his own aspirations.
