Louisiana Tech University announced the commitment of Juliette Starck, a midfielder from Toulouse, France, to its women’s soccer program, marking the arrival of a player who will debut as a true freshman in the 2026 season.
A New Chapter for the Bulldogs
Starck’s secondary‑school résumé culminated in a UNSS French national championship during the 2025‑26 academic year, where she earned School Cup MVP honors at Lycée Déodat de Séverac.
Her club trajectory includes two seasons with Toulouse FC in Ligue 1, a promotion to the French top division and a run to the Coupe de France quarterfinals, where the side faced Paris Saint‑Germain.
Outside of soccer, she competed in rugby, track and field, volleyball, badminton, basketball and strength training throughout high school, highlighting a versatile athletic background.
Head coach Matt Lodge welcomed the addition, stating that Starck’s championship pedigree and competitive experience should reinforce the Bulldogs’ midfield depth as the program looks to build on recent progress.
Starck’s parents, Valérie Pailhé and Olivier Starck, have supported her journey from Paris to Ruston, underscoring the family’s role in her development.
