Andrew Moore, a former Oregon State All‑American and Major League pitcher, has been named an assistant coach on the Beavers’ pitching staff, bringing a wealth of experience back to Corvallis.

Moore’s collegiate tenure from 2013 to 2015 saw him compile 27 wins with a 2.10 ERA, earning All‑America honors twice and setting a foundation that still resonates in the program.
After three seasons as a pitching coach within the Cleveland Guardians system, where his 2024 staff posted a 4.70 ERA and his 2025 High‑A group recorded a 3.89 ERA with 1,162 strikeouts, Moore returns with a proven track record of developing talent.
Under his guidance, top prospect Josh Hartle posted a 2.35 ERA and was crowned the Midwest League’s Pitcher of the Year, highlighting the impact of Moore’s coaching methods.
Moore’s professional stint with the Seattle Mariners in 2017, where he threw 63 ⅔ innings and earned a win, adds a practical MLB perspective that he will share with the current roster.
