State Tournament Highlights
The 2026 Wisconsin State Girls Soccer Tournament concluded with four distinct divisional champions, each securing their titles in convincing fashion. Divine Savior Holy Angels captured Division 1, Brookfield Central repeated as Division 2 champions, McFarland claimed Division 3, and The Prairie School added a third title to its program legacy in Division 4.
In the Division 1 final, Divine Savior Holy Angels edged Muskego 3-1, ending the latter's four-year reign. Reese Roethe opened the scoring for Divine Savior Holy Angels, while Taylor Collins answered with the lone goal for Muskego. Mary Stith and Sarah Mcelherne contributed second-half goals that sealed the victory.
Brookfield Central extended its dominance in Division 2 with a 5-0 triumph over Wauwatosa East. Charlotte Vaughn and Stella Wien found the net in the first half, and Alexandra Rossi added both second-half goals, underscoring the team's depth.
McFarland shut out Kiel 2-0 in the Division 3 championship. Goals from Bergen Westrum and Allison Charbonneau highlighted a defensive masterclass that preserved a clean sheet.
The Prairie School completed its tournament run with a 5-0 victory over Xavier. Meghan Gavigan and Constanza Reyes Belaunzaran each scored multiple goals, contributing to a dominant performance that marked the school's third state title in its tenth appearance.
