The Missouri Soccer Coaches Association has released its annual all‑state selections for girls’ soccer, honoring the state’s top performers across five classifications. The announcement not only celebrates individual excellence but also highlights the programs that have shaped these athletes.
Class 4 Honors
Maddie DiMaria of Cor Jesu Academy was named Class 4 Player of the Year after helping her team finish the season unbeaten at 25‑0‑0. Joining her on the elite list, Shaelee Franck of Nixa and Grace Wright of Parkway West shared co‑offensive player honors, while Lauren Zangara from Nerinx Hall earned defensive player of the year. In goal, Ella Moersch of St. Joseph’s Academy was recognized as the goalkeeper of the year. Coaching accolades went to Annie Wayland of Parkway West for public schools and Rachel Brcic of Cor Jesu for private schools.
Class 3 Highlights
Class 3 saw its own set of standouts, with Brielle Gilbert of Fort Zumwalt South taking offensive player honors. Addy Basler from St. Michael the Archangel was celebrated as defensive player of the year, and Lily Adelman of Rockwood Summit earned goalkeeper recognition. The coaching awards were split between Leanna Sanders of Fort Zumwalt South for public schools and Robb Putthoff of St. Michael the Archangel for private schools.
Class 2 Recognitions
In Class 2, Pleasant Hill’s Haley Dimarco was crowned player of the year, while teammate Lana Adams of St. Vincent claimed offensive player of the year. Izzy Hoerschgen from Springfield Catholic received defensive player honors, and Breauna McCluer of Pleasant Hill was selected as goalkeeper of the year. Public‑school coaching honors went to Edson Ortiz of Pleasant Hill, and private‑school coaching honors were bestowed upon Cari Barnes of St. Vincent.
Class 1 Spotlight
Class 1 recognized Pembroke Hill’s Colbie Hyde as player of the year, with Kensington Curd of Brentwood earning offensive player accolades. Cadie Welchko from Duchesne was named defensive player, and Tyler Pritchett of Pembroke Hill took goalkeeper honors. Coaching awards were presented to Ryan Limb of Brentwood for public schools and Matthew Pritchett of Pembroke Hill for private schools.
Across all divisions, the selections reflect a deep pool of talent and the strong club‑school pipelines that continue to drive success in Missouri girls’ soccer. The association’s rankings also underscore Cor Jesu’s dominance in Class 4, where the team finished the season without a loss.
