The Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association (WBCA) has announced its 2026 all-state teams, players of the year and other awards, celebrating the finest high school baseball talent from across the state.
Division Players of the Year
Jace Mataczynski from Hudson leads Division 1, while Dominic Santarelli of Kenosha St. Joseph captures Division 2, Ira Hilbelink of Cedar Grove‑Belgium takes Division 3 and Dawson Luther from Pittsville earns the honor in Division 4.
All-State Teams
The first team features pitchers such as Tyson Glukowski, Brett Paulsen and Landon Lassahn, while the second team includes Colton Semmelmann, Mason Schmidt and Parker Lawson, and the third team showcases Damian Kosempa, Maddux Hermus and Ethan Jeffers; honorable mentions also recognize Reed Vorlob, Sam Ortiz and Mark Susa.
Academic Excellence
The WBCA Academic All-State program honors juniors and seniors who earn first or second team all-conference status, have a coach who is a WBCA member and maintain a GPA of 4.00 or higher, highlighting athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom.
Beyond the rankings, the association took the opportunity to acknowledge the breadth of talent throughout Wisconsin’s baseball community, from schools in Hudson to those in Kenosha, Cedar Grove, Pittsville and beyond, underscoring the state’s rich baseball tradition.
