The Diamond Youth Baseball South Carolina District 7 Ozone Tournament culminated in a dramatic showdown where the Hanahan All Stars faced off against Mount Pleasant, the only team that entered the finals unbeaten. Hanahan turned the tables, securing victories in both games and clinching the district championship.

With the title in hand, Hanahan will travel to Greenwood County for the Division 1 Ozone State Tournament scheduled for July 3‑9, where they will represent District 7 against other regional champions.

The tournament field also included Parks Field, Goose Creek, Moncks Corner, and St. Andrews. Goose Creek was honored with the Gary McJunkin Sportsmanship Award for its exemplary conduct on the field.

In a separate bracket, St. Paul captured the District 7 Division 2 Ozone championship, earning a berth in the state tournament for that division. Meanwhile, Mount Pleasant rebounded from the finals to defeat St. Andrews and advance to the Minors Division 1 State Tournament in Gilbert, set for July 3‑9.

Hanahan also received recognition for sportsmanship, winning the District 7 Gary McJunkin Sportsmanship Award in the Minors division. Parks Field, having impressed throughout the Rookie Division 1 circuit, earned a spot in the Rookie Division 1 State Tournament in Orangeburg from June 27‑30.
